Thanks for stopping by this weeks Science of Soul, We are getting back in full swing this week as we feature the current contemporary gospel album from Marlo Wells "2nd Chance". The Gentleman from Highland Park Detroit but now residing in California as delivered a classy set songs that are well produced and performed, It will appeal to both Gospel & traditional Soul lovers. Marlo will be releasing a new EP on Feb 25th "Essence of Love" I will keep you updated on that.Other new music this week comes from Rene Rose , Uncle Charlie Wilson and a young man from my home town Birmingham England Carvalho & Deepconsoul plus a new single fro the beautiful Ms Gina Carey.

Sad News to start the year is Southern Soul Icon and daughter of Jr. Walker, Big Cynthia passed on January 3rd though her recording output may not be to well known outside of the Southern soul circuit she was Immensely popular and well loved...She Will Be Missed.
Lots of great music for the old school lovers this week be sure to pay attention to the tracks from Sandra Wright I spent nearly an hour trying to decide between two tracks in the end I decided on both.
Negotiations are currently underway with a new outlet for the Science of Soul in the USA both Terrestrial and Internet if it all works out it will open up a new area for us I will keep you posted on that..OK on with the music please feel free to share the Science of Soul Link with friends after all the music belongs to everyone.

Marlo Wells is an phenomenal male vocalist that currently lives in southern California by way of Detroit Michigan. He describes his music as Smuuzic or Smooth Jazz Worship Music. Marlo has come a long way from his early claim to fame of opening for Yolonda Adams ,and Take 6.
Marlo released his first CD Simply Marlo on April 1, 2012. Soul Discovery Radio Podcast in the United Kingdom ranked Marlo's song Hands Up number 1 on their playlist for the first week of June 2012. As a result of the overwhelming positive support of friends, family, Church and hundreds of new fans, over 1000 Simply Marlo CD's were sold within the first month of release. More
