Welcome to the latest edition of the Science of Soul with great new music from Frank McKinney and K'Jon two very different artists but both great in there own way. Also representing the gentlemen is Tony Sullivan ft DivEYEne with their great version of the Gladys Knight classic, "Neither One Of Us," and whilst talking of classics, the beautiful Ms Miracle Thomas is here with the remix of her version of The Carpenters million seller "Close To You" and I'll dip into the current album "Waiting For The Day" from Nic Jackson for his new single "Ain't It Good For Me". You might remember back in 2018 I featured the Saginaw Soulman Al Lindsey and his great album "Versatility", well I want to remind you just how great project this is ....  it's an album I never tire of. It's great to see Darryl Perry getting strong support for his new single "Come On In" I truly think Darryl is the real deal, soul star on the rise. Chicago writer producer, master bass player and a genuinely nice guy; Paul Richmond is doing well with his tribute album to Johnny "Guitar" Watson, did feature it on it's release but I thought I would give you a little reminder of just how good it is. The old school folks are well taken care of to you also have The Dynamic Superiors, Walter Jackson, Eddie Holman and so much more to bring those back in the day memories to the front of your mind. Lavel is a very popular live performer having worked quite a few years with L J Reynolds & The Dramatics and also The Detroit Emeralds. I think you will enjoy. We have other new music from a young man who is certainly on the rise Mr Darryl Perry. He always reminds me of Will Downing which is no bad thing and his new single "Come On In" is polished and smooth and really shows off Darryl's class and potential expect great times in 2020.. It will be available to download from all the usual spots on Feb 28th. Next up we head to Shreveport Louisiana, Tony Sullivan is back with a great version of the classic "Neither One Of Us" and he is sounding a great as always.It's highly recommended .
