Welcome to this weeks Science of Soul thank you for your patience over the last couple of weeks while I have been in the States and a BIG shout out to Mickey Nold for keeping everything ticking over. It's all back to normal now after an amazing trip that saw me drive 2794 miles and it was worth every mile.

I have some great new music this week from Teddy B & Miracle Thomas who I had the pleasure of seeing in Beltsville, MD. just after the recording was completed in Atlantic City!  Legendary song writer Jimmy Roach stays as busy as ever his latest project is with Atlanta soulman Anthony Brewer, and a new name to the SOS is Gerald Richardson and his new release called "Naturally", a very smooth affair. Back on the music scene I have tunes from; Jimmy Allgood, Jermaine Robbins, Brian McKnight and Will Downing, so it's a great week for the gentlemen's of soul.

During my trip I was fortunate enough to meet up with Darryl Perry in Alexandria, Va., so I thought I would remind you of the great potential this young man has, he has new music in the works and you will be hearing here in near future. It was great to be in Alexandria with Ray, Goodman & Brown who did an amazing show at The Carlyle Club. The WMEL Music awards where very well supported and performing on the night were The Softones who did a great set in front of a celebrity packed audience who gave them a standing ovation and I was honoured to present a Life Time Achievement to Damon Harris, the award was received by Damon Harris Jr., and I am sure his father was looking down with pride.
