Al Lindsey

RIP - Lowrell (Simon)
Thank you for stopping by the Science of Soul, we are back to normal this week with lots of great new music and some old skool classics. Featured Album comes from my good friend Al Lindsey and his new album called "Versatility," it's an album I have been looking forward to, and it does not disappoint. Al's polished vocals and quality songs and productions make this an essential addition to your collection, highly recommended. (photo below of Al Lindsey & Paulette Jackson)  There is also new music from Change, (the group that one time featured Luther Vandross), great to see them back and sounding good.
Other new music comes from Mike Rob who is a new name to me, but I'm loving his sound. Had the sad news this week that Lowrell Simon of The Lost Generation had passed-on, so I dedicate this show to his memory that includes is his solo classic "Mellow' Mellow Right On" plus from his days as lead singer with The Lost Generation, "Someday".

Thank you for your patience over the last few weeks due to me being on a Stateside trip, time to sit back and enjoy The Science of Soul ....

Al Lindsey album
It's time to reach out and recapture that's what's been lost! Time to bring back those values of unity and love. Seems like mankind is on the brink of self destruction....The solution is so simple....We must appreciate the beauty of diversity, like a rainbow...Versatility to appreciate the idea of diversity. Taken from the featured track on this masterpiece, Versatility. This album has a message as powerful as Marvin Gaye's "Whats Going On". This album is a must for your collection. This cd has it all. Beautiful ballads delivered as only Al Lindsey can. It has hot dance tracks. If you're just in the mood to chill! (cdbaby)
